Halyna, the eldest child of a formidable hunter and huntress from the heart of Golmore Jungle, is a gentle and cheerful young woman who puts great effort into keeping her optimism alive. Her mother instilled in her the importance of having a compassionate heart. She was effortlessly captivated by the voices of the wood from a young age. The girl's talent was discovered in healing magics rather than with a blade. Her mother decided it was best to place her in a position where she would thrive, so she assigned young Hally the duties of a blossoming medic: caring for the injured, sick, and aged (This included preparing meals and armor for the warrior women.). Halyna and her brother were raised together until he was separated and trained to stay in the shadows with the wood warders once he was in his pre-adolescent years.

Her father passed away soon after falling ill with an unidentified disease brought to him by a foreigner trying to enter the bush. Her mother committed suicide not long after, presumably due to a shattered heart. Only hours later, Halyna discovered her lifeless body amidst her favorite flower field. Halyna's brother became the last remaining member of her immediate family in a matter of days. But now... they had begun to lead vastly different lives. They only saw each other once a year. She concentrated on studying medicine and honing her talent, trying not to succumb to the despair of living her biggest fear; being alone.One hot summer day, her brother had sent word that he had abandoned a hunt and left the jungle. She was well aware that this meant exile. Halyna could no longer endure this suffocating feeling of loneliness. Although the outside world was perilous, it was also full of unknown treasures and journeys yet to be undertaken. In the late lune, she set out to leave the only place she'd ever known. That connection to the jungle was instantly severing as soon as she did. She felt as though something had been pulled from within her. But if she could provide light to the star outside of the jungle, then maybe... just maybe, it wasn't as bad as it seemed.The young woman pledged to find her brother at any cost, despite having no clue where he had vanished. Before embarking on her uncertain journey, she turned to The Twelveswood, hoping to rekindle the conjury skills she had once mastered. She diligently studied under Guildmaster E-Sumi-Yan.

Her job allowed her a permanent position within The Twelveswood, stationing at the edge of the shroud as a medic and ambassador of refugees for the Twelveswood. She frequented errands between Ul'dah and Mor Dhona, then back to Gridania.After many years of studying and searching for any sign of her twin, she was finally able to follow a lead that guided her to the port city of Kugane. There, she was able to reunite with Hadynn, where he found a home within a textile shop. After a touching and very emotional reunion, they decided to keep living their separate lives. She often visits for extended periods of time.Halyna invested in a separate medical clinic in Shirogane, attending to "Ijin" from far and wide. Her multiple clinics allowed for easy trade routes and clientele integration, skyrocketing her flow of income. With the money earned, she now sponsors Yuri Veis' (Co-worker & Little Sister Figure) dance troupe and funds any endeavors or tours. Any surplus funds are put toward the provision of clothing, brand-new beds, and an abundance of food for the rehabilitation of children residing in Frondale's Phrontistery, The Acorn Orchard, and The Hamlet Orphanage.

This traveling doctor formerly worked as a co-owner to The Gilded Spirit Cafe & Ivory foundation located in the Mist of La Noscea. As a representative and associate for the welfare center, she assisted those in need by offering medical care and instructional services. She still found time to excuse herself and and travel the realm, but preferred to stay stationary in Gridania alongside her assistant nurse, Swozwyb.Whilst travelling back to Kugane in an earnest visit to see her kin, her boatswain caught glimpse of a pure white creature treading through the Ruby Sea's vast waters. Much to their surprise, a little pure white ferret had been seemingly swimming to shore, yet ran out of energy halfway through its journey. Being as soft as she was, Halyna could turn no blind eye to this creature, and welcomed him into her boat, and eventually--her whole life. Naming the Whittret "Montblanc" after one of her favorite treats, she spoils him rotten by giving him the best life she could provide.

Halyna is now working closely with a Sharlayan Professor and Agronomist (Cielo Valdez), who provides the doctor a secure route to and from Sharlayan. Her ultimate goal at the moment is to continue improving the lives of the star and provide health to those who are still suffering from The Final Days. She offers and receives information with scholars attending the Studium, conducts lectures on the phenomenon of The Green Word, extending her medical services now unto The Northern Empty. However; due to traumatic incidents involving Garlemalds invasion on her home in Ivalice, she still remains wary and distrusting of the nation and its citizens.
